Will Federer Make it Three in a Row? Seeded No. 2 is Andy Roddick, the hard-serving American who likes his chances on grass but has trouble solving the puzzle named Federer. Still, the Wimbledon runner-up last year, is hot: Roddick won his third straight Stella Artois title at London's Queen's Club two weeks ago. He's feeling confident and gunning for the big prize. World No. 2 Lleyton Hewitt, the 2002 Wimbledon champion, has the third seed position. He has the instincts of a champion when it comes to playing on grass and can never be counted out at Wimbledon. Checking in at the No. 4 seeded spot is Rafael Nadal, the heart throb of the teenaged crowd and the newly-crowned French Open champ. Nadal is an artist on slow clay which is a whole different ballgame from the fast grass. But he is always one to watch. And sadly, the ever entertaining Andre Agassi will be missing from the action this year because of a back injury. Agassi, who won the first of his eight career Grand Slam titles at Wimbledon in 1992, has not played a match since his first-round loss at Roland Garros. And Britain will keep keeping its collective fingers crossed for it favorite sons: 31-year-old Greg Rusedski and No. 6 seed Tim Henman, a four-time semifinalist at the All England Club. The best of the best in men's tennis are coming to Uniprix Stadium in Montreal for the 2005 Rogers Cup, August 6-14.
